well i have seen it too ….. the first hint ……. we have been warned . so any lucky guess ? thrusters ? man makers ? i was happy at the beggining since it is only 10 days that we have done some dumbell wods for the greek throwdown but then …… bang ……. DUMBELL SQUAT SNATCHES . and when it cames to squat and snatch combo it is again a pain in the ash . welcome to the open session everyone .
so some tips about that movement
- hold the barbell close to your body and stay close to your middleline
- remember to keep your legs active and use your hands to guide the motion and not the other way arround
- do the strug with your shoulders it is 25/16 kg heavy weight and you can not afford to do all that with your hand
- in order to recieve the weight in an overhead position correctly do pull yourself aggressively down
